I have to tell you that I'm kind of obsessed with matching. If I can get everything in my outfit to match it's a great day but if it's in the same hue I feel like I'm winning x10. The easiest colour to do this in, apart from the obvious black and white, is blue. Denim is (mostly) blue and so I love navy or light blue tops in similar colours so that I can match to the next level.

I bought these shorts recently and to be honest I'm still not 100% sure about them. In my whole life I think I have only ever owned maybe two pairs of shorts that I loved and felt comfortable in. Shorts are hard thing to nail when you are trying to be modest but also avoid scaring people by showing them how long it's been since I last shaved and when you've got short legs and you're not a size 10. That's a lot of things I have against shorts. So when I bought these my thinking was - they aren't horrible and when you live in QLD, Australia you need more than 1 pair of shorts. They kind of have to be your wardrobe for 3/4 of the year so I bought them. They go perfectly with this old Sussan top of mine but so far I haven't found too much else that I think really works with them. I will keep trying or potentially need to buy some tops to suit them because, like I said, I need shorts.

Do you have any wisdom on where to find great shorts? I'm all ears.
